Benjamin Longmire is a singer-songwriter and record producer from New Mexico. He's been recording music for 20 years and has "always wanted to make a blues album". It's the music he grew up listening to (and it shows in his other records). However, "Lightning" is pure blues. It's raw, it's honest, it's in-your-face. The guitar parts are melodic and memorable and the immediacy of the vocal delivery just takes no prisoners.
