The idea for the song title came from trying to guess a Wordle puzzle. The word “Chill” was the incorrect guess, and the following one, “Child”, was the one that solved it. Once I had that then somehow a melody came to me, so I started to put together a simple beat to vibe to it.
The instrumental track was produced in my home studio, then sent to Liset to do her part. The vocals just sounded unbelievably amazing to me. They didn’t need any cleaning up or even EQ. Just some reverb. I did do some editing to create additional hooks in the background. Then went back and forth on a mix twenty times to get it just right.
