MOLØ x Slackin Beats – Four Lanes

There's undeniable chemistry between Slackin Beats, famous for his deep and atmospheric beats painting serene pictures of Northern nature, and MOLØ, a genius of subtle yet catchy melodies. "Four Lanes" combines the singanture touches of both musicians into a captivating track full of quiet beauty and peace.

Slackin Beats
Collaborating has been an organic and exciting experience. Working together as electronic artists feels deeply personal because so much of our identity comes through in our production choices. Even though we worked remotely, we instinctively knew what we shared in terms of sound preferences - lush synths, warped layers, and organic drums, to name a few.

We also played to our individual strengths. MOLØ focused on structuring and arranging the songs, mixing everything, and adding key elements to finalize the tracks. Meanwhile, I concentrated on shaping the right tone, crafting vocal chops, basslines, and other intricate details. By sending ideas back and forth we pushed each other creatively, always aiming to surprise and impress one another. The results were both unexpected and rewarding.

For me, the collaboration has felt seamless from the very beginning, which is quite rare. We've really made an effort to listen to each other while constantly pushing and surprising one another. As Elvis (Slacking Beats) mentioned, our different strengths have been an almost fascinating match. I'm so happy and grateful for this project and how it came together so naturally

A/S/L – One Last Disco

This track is special – not only it is sewn together from samples of various instruments taken from God knows where, it's structure is like a crazy, hazy, fragmented memory of a party. And that party probably happened ages ago.

Yes, yes, yes, if you're like me, we're that old. We can now get nostalgic about 2000s parties. Disco house, French touch, all that naive, sunny music. A/S/L brings back those memories. And it's priceless.
