Loud Sounds 62
We are coming back with "Loud Sounds" to show you some of the best new tracks we've found.
Zenpaz – erlymrning

Miguel Abella describes his work as Zenpaz as "a musical project dedicated to sharing spiritual insight and feelings for a more conscious humanity". His latest single is a fast-paced instrumental tune with transparent piano, catchy vocal chops and moody synth melodies that feel hopeful and nostalgic and bring to mind Pet Shop Boys' 90s work.

Zenpaz
I wrote it when I was feeling really good and optimistic about life and decided to capture the feeling in my DAW.

Color Theory – Death Machine

The new track from Color Theory is cold and minimalistic and features some really catchy synth melodies. Its most interesting part is the disorienting chord change in the hook that echoes the song idea: death is always around the corner.

Color Theory
The way this track and "The Rot" came about is that a potential new collaborator sent me a Spotify playlist of tracks for inspiration, which included my song "Trick of the Light." I put together two verse/chorus snippets that matched the vibe of the playlist as best I could. I figured she'd choose one and I'd develop the other on my own.
She didn't really connect with either, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise because I ended up with two of my favorite tracks from my upcoming album, Underneath These Dying Stars.
