Loud Sounds 89
We are coming back with "Loud Sounds" to show you some of the best new tracks we've found.
Anthony Menzia – Theather of Noise

Anthony Menzia's "Theater of Noise" is the perfect example of how noisy and abrasive textures can be ear-pleasing to the point of giving you inescapable goosebumps. The artist drew inspiration from Daft Punk's Derezzed and the film THX 1138, as well as Tobacco & Nine Inch Nails. He adds: "In particular I appreciate Tobacco's ability to push the mixing & mastering envelopes for maximum loudness". And goes on to quote NIN's Trent Reznor: "There's something strangely musical about noise".

Naama – I'm Glad There Is You

On this gentle and heartfelt rendition of jazz and pop standard written by Jimmy Dorsey and Paul Madeira soulful vocalist Naama teams up with guitarist Peter Bernstein. The track is just vocals filled with yearning and vulnerability and minimalistic yet intricate guitar. And nothing else. Because pure emotion needs no ornamentation. It just flows until it reaches the listeners' hearts.
