Bryony Jarman-Pinto's "Moving Forward" Is Disco-tinged Jazzy Goodness
Cumbria-raised and London-based artist and songwriter Bryony Jarman-Pinto is back with a standout track "Moving Forward". The song takes no prisoners from the very beginning offering all kinds of sonic goodness: gorgeous disco strings, stylish funky guitars, bright and extremely satisfying piano, and, of course, Bryony's effortlessly cool vocals. The song was inspired by changes in Bryony's life – her motherhood and the way this shift strengthened the bond with her partner.

Moving forward is a song that has turned out so differently to how it began, but I love where it has ended. In the recording session, we asked the musicians to jam on it as we were struggling to get the feel as on the demo I had. It became really funky, and the piano is my favourite sound that comes through. It's about those newborn days and how my relationship with my partner was being completely altered, having to shift to fit in our little girl and still stay strong and supported.
